We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Local CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team, specializing in flatbed and lowboy freight. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with experience in various types of truck driving. This position involves local route driving, ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to all regulations and company policies.

*Responsibilities*

* Operate a flatbed truck to transport freight to designated locations safely and efficiently.
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
* Utilize manual transmission when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in various truck types including refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks.

*Skills*

* Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL Class A license.
* Proficiency in operating flatbed trucks and understanding load securement techniques.
* Experience as a delivery driver with knowledge of route driving best practices.
* Strong attention to detail for conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining logs.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
