Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides patient-centered respiratory therapy and care in compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications include a current State License, CPR certification, and preferred ACLS certification.
Requires 2+ years of hospital experience preferred.
Uses general office and medical equipment; physical ability to lift, push, and pull at least 30 pounds, stand, walk, and perform patient care tasks.
Must have effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Works in a temperature-controlled indoor environment, with occasional outdoor exposure, and potential contact with blood and body fluids.
Adheres to attendance, dress code, and may work various shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and during disasters.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
