Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides patient-centered respiratory care following hospital, state, professional, and federal guidelines.
Ensures a safe environment that supports the hospitalâs mission.
Requires current State License in Respiratory Therapy, CPR certification, and preferred ACLS certification.
Typically has 2+ years of hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
Uses general office equipment and medical devices; must have good visual acuity and communication skills.
Physical demands include lifting/pushing/pulling at least 30 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, and flexibility to reach and bend.
Must work effectively independently, meet deadlines, and adhere to dress and attendance policies.
May work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and disaster response; occasional outdoor exposure and potential contact with blood and body fluids.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
