Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with hospital, state, professional, and federal regulations.
Requires current state license, CPR certification, and preferred ACLS certification.
Typically has 2 years hospital experience in respiratory therapy.
Uses general office equipment and medical devices, with physical ability to lift, push, pull, stand, walk, and perform patient care tasks.
Must communicate effectively, analyze situations, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Works in a temperature-controlled, indoor environment with occasional outdoor exposure, potential contact with blood/body fluids, and may work under stress.
Adheres to attendance, dress code, and may work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, or disaster response.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
