Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy treatment and patient care in compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations.
Maintains a patient-centered, safe environment aligned with the hospital’s mission.
Requires current State License in Respiratory Therapy, CPR certification, with ACLS preferred.
Preferred 2 years of hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
Uses general office equipment and medical devices; able to lift, push, pull at least 30 pounds, and perform patient repositioning.
Must have good visual acuity, effective communication skills, and ability to work independently.
Performs in a temperature-controlled, indoor setting with occasional outdoor exposure; may encounter blood and body fluids.
Meets attendance and dress standards; may work variable shifts, holidays, and during disasters.
Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
