Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides patient-centered respiratory therapy treatment in accordance with hospital, state, professional, and federal regulations, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications include a current State License in Respiratory Therapy, CPR certification, with ACLS preferred.
Requires 2+ years hospital experience preferred.
Utilizes general office and medical equipment, with physical ability to lift and move patients and supplies, stand for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks.
Must possess effective communication, decision-making, and independent working skills.
Works in a controlled indoor environment with potential exposure to blood and body fluids, and may occasionally work outdoors or under stress.
Adheres to attendance, dress code, and may work flexible hours, including holidays and disaster response, performing additional duties as assigned.
