Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides patient-centered respiratory therapy treatment in accordance with hospital, state, professional, and federal regulations, fostering a safe and supportive environment.

  • Qualifications include a current State License in Respiratory Therapy, CPR certification, with ACLS preferred.
  • Requires 2+ years hospital experience preferred.
  • Utilizes general office and medical equipment, with physical ability to lift and move patients and supplies, stand for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks.
  • Must possess effective communication, decision-making, and independent working skills.
  • Works in a controlled indoor environment with potential exposure to blood and body fluids, and may occasionally work outdoors or under stress.
  • Adheres to attendance, dress code, and may work flexible hours, including holidays and disaster response, performing additional duties as assigned.
