Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with an active, unrestricted license to perform Disability Assessments for U.S. Veterans on a part-time basis (2 days/week).

  • The role involves reviewing electronic behavioral health records and conducting in-person assessments to complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires through a secure Web Portal.
  • Psychologists do NOT make disability determinations, treat patients, or prescribe medications; they solely perform assessments to support the VA’s disability process.
  • Approximately 4 Veterans are assessed daily.
  • This position is as an Independent Contractor, with benefits including malpractice insurance and health options.
  • Ideal candidates are licensed psychologists from APA-accredited programs interested in serving Veterans and performing assessments rather than traditional patient care.
