Interim Social Worker – Geriatric Psychiatry

Signet Health manages the behavioral health and psychiatry programs for Anderson Meridian Hospital in Meridian, MS. We have a temporary opening (4-6 weeks) for a Mississipi licensed social worker (LPC, LMSW, or LCSW).

This position provides the following:

Group Therapy
Social Services Assessments
Treatment Team Planning
Discharge Planning
Individual Therapy (as needed)
Developing Discharge Plans
Weekly Patient Updates

Requirements/Qualifications:
Mississippi license required for one of the following: LPC, LMSW, or LCSW or equivalent.
Experience in working with behavioral health, inpatient preferably.
Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and display excellent oral/written communication skills.
Must be flexible to adjust to the needs of a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build rapport quickly and develop positive working relationships with program staff.
