Family Medicine physician employment in Texas : - Examine active duty, family members and other authorized beneficiaries to determine the presence and extent of diseases and conditions. - Administer appropriate care and or referral of cases requiring hospitalization or subspecialty care. - Provide emergency/lifesaving care to patients on a periodic basis. - Teach and consult medical students/externs, and other non-professional health care providers when needed. - Scope of care includes assessment, treatment, consultation, and evacuation of patients. - Writes prescriptions, orders the administration of medications, dispenses medications, and prescribes controlled substances in accordance with approved treatment protocols. - Records entries into patients chart including progress notes, treatment rendered, tests or procedures ordered, notations of prescriptions, and drugs dispensed or administered. - Uses judgment in devising solutions and actions to resolve issues, conditions and problems. - Performs Other Duties as Assigned
Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
