Job Description
This ultrasound technician role involves providing high-quality ultrasound services in a safe, respectful environment.
Candidates should be graduates of an approved ultrasound program with ARDMS accreditation, preferably with 2+ years hospital experience, though training is available.
Responsibilities include performing OB/GYN, abdominal, vascular, and pelvic ultrasounds, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and accurately communicating findings to radiologists.
Must be able to manipulate equipment, assist with patient transfers, and perform biopsies following safety protocols.
The role requires physical effort, emotional stability, and availability for after-hours and weekend call, including STAT procedures within 30 minutes.
