Job Description
Seeking a travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Decatur, Illinois, in the PCU with a start date of 08/25/2025. The role involves providing intermediate care for patients requiring higher monitoring than in medical-surgical units but not intensive care.
Assess and monitor patients with moderate to high acuity, including vital signs, labs, and cardiac rhythms.
Administer medications, manage telemetry, and care for post-surgical and complex conditions.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans and participate in rounds.
Educate patients and families on recovery, treatment, and lifestyle modifications.
Accurately document care and ensure compliance with regulations.
Follow infection control protocols and respond to emergencies promptly.
Work as part of a team, support colleagues, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
The position requires 48 hours/week, 12-hour day shifts, with pay based on shifts and hours worked.
