Job Description
Seeking a travel RN for a 13-week assignment in the PCU in Goldsboro, NC, starting 08/18/2025. The role involves providing intermediate care for patients requiring higher monitoring than a medical-surgical unit but not intensive care.
Assess and monitor patients with moderate to high acuity, including vital signs, labs, and cardiac rhythms.
Administer medications, manage telemetry, and provide post-surgical and complex condition care.
Collaborate with healthcare teams, participate in rounds, and develop care plans.
Educate patients/families, document care accurately, and follow safety protocols.
Respond to emergencies, perform life support, and ensure compliance with standards.
Work 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, with a focus on quality, safety, and teamwork.
