Job Description

Seeking a travel RN First Assist for a 13-week assignment in Longview, Texas, starting ASAP, working 8-hour days, 40 hours/week.

  • Specialty: First Assist, Discipline: RN.

    • Position involves providing specialized perioperative care to cardiovascular surgery patients, including open-heart procedures, CABG, and valve replacements.

  • Assist with prepping OR, administering medications, intraoperative monitoring, post-op care, and managing mechanical cardiac support devices.

  • Collaborate with surgical teams, educate patients, maintain documentation, and ensure safety standards.

    • Qualifications include a BSN (preferred) or ADN, valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and CNOR preferred. The role offers a pay package based on 8-hour shifts, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
