Job Description

Seeking a travel RN for the OR in Springfield, Missouri, starting ASAP for a 13-week assignment, working 36 hours weekly on 12-hour night shifts.

As an OR RN, you’ll provide preoperative assessment, prepare the surgical environment, assist during procedures, and ensure patient safety.

Key responsibilities include verifying consent, monitoring vital signs, assisting with anesthesia, passing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and advocating for patient comfort.

Postoperative duties involve monitoring recovery, managing dressings, and documenting surgical events.

Effective communication with the healthcare team and staying current on surgical practices are essential.
