Job Description
Seeking a travel RN for the OR (Operating Room) in Bridgeport, WV, starting ASAP for 13 weeks, working 36 hours/week on 12-hour night shifts.
Provide preoperative assessment, patient preparation, and intraoperative assistance, ensuring sterile conditions and proper equipment functioning.
Assist with anesthesia, position patients, and anticipate surgeons’ needs, maintaining aseptic techniques.
Advocate for patient safety, monitor responses, and respond to complications.
Transfer patients post-surgery, monitor recovery, manage dressings, and ensure comfort.
Maintain accurate documentation, communicate with the healthcare team, and stay current through ongoing education.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
