Job Description
Seeking a travel RN for a 19-week assignment in Tacoma, WA, working in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Start date: 09/08/2025, 36 hours/week, 12-hour day shifts, travel employment.
The RN provides intermediate care for patients needing higher monitoring than a medical-surgical unit but less than ICU, including post-surgical and complex condition management.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, administering medications, monitoring telemetry, and managing acute issues.
Collaborates with healthcare teams, educates patients, documents care, and follows safety protocols.
Recognizes emergencies, performs life support, and participates in quality improvement activities.
The role requires strong assessment, critical thinking, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.
