Job Description
Seeking a travel RN for PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) in Shreveport, Louisiana, starting 08/04/2025 for 12 weeks, 40 hours/week, with flexible 8-hour shifts (11:30AM-8PM, Mon-Fri).
Requires 1 year of related experience preferred, BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications, and RN license in state or compact.
Includes call responsibilities: one weeknight every other week and one weekend every 6-8 weeks, with a variety of patient cases from newborns to geriatrics.
Previous PACU or critical care experience is preferred; charting training available.
Responsibilities include providing independent care, assessment, medication administration, documentation, patient education, and addressing complex emotional and social needs.
Requires BSN preferred; all new hires must attend orientation within 30 days and complete competency validations.
Work schedule is full-time, with potential for temp-to-perm.
