Job Description
Seeking a travel RN in the OR for a 13-week assignment in Hendersonville, NC, starting 08/25/2025, working 36 hours/week on 12-hour night shifts.
As an OR RN, you’ll provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care, collaborating with surgical teams to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Assessing patient histories, preparing patients for surgery, verifying consent, and developing care plans.
Preparing the OR environment, maintaining sterile techniques, positioning patients, and assisting with anesthesia.
Anticipating surgeons’ needs, passing instruments, maintaining aseptic practices, and monitoring patient responses.
Transferring patients post-surgery, managing dressings, and ensuring comfort and safety.
Documenting procedures, communicating with team members, and staying current with surgical advancements.
