Job Description

A travel RN Operating Room (OR) position in Duluth, Georgia, starting 08/11/2025 for 13 weeks, 36 hours/week on 12-hour day shifts.

  • Provide preoperative assessments, verify consent, and prepare patients for surgery.
  • Assist with intraoperative care, ensuring sterile conditions, positioning patients, and supporting anesthesia.
  • Anticipate surgeons’ needs, pass instruments, and maintain aseptic techniques.
  • Advocate for patient safety, monitor responses, and address complications.
  • Transfer patients to recovery, monitor postoperative status, manage dressings, and ensure comfort.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and communicate with the healthcare team.
  • Stay updated on surgical practices through continuing education and participate in quality initiatives.
