Job Description
Seeking a travel RN for Med Surg / Telemetry in Greensboro, NC for a 13-week assignment, working 36 hours/week on day shifts.
Provide safe, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical-surgical diagnoses including respiratory, diabetes, post-op, and hospice needs.
Perform assessments, medication administration, and interventions per care plans.
Manage oxygen therapy, monitor dysrhythmias, and initiate telemetry as needed.
Recognize patient condition changes, initiate rapid response, and document in EPIC EMR.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
Skill in wound vacs, feeding tubes, airway management, and infection control required.
Participate in discharge planning, patient education, and end-of-life care.
Observe psychiatric patients, postoperative, respiratory, and diabetic conditions.
Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred; Epic EMR experience required.
