Job Description
Seeking a travel RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma, starting 08/14/2025. The role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Assess patients physically, emotionally, and psychologically, developing personalized care plans.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, assist with ADLs, and provide pre- and post-operative care.
Work closely with physicians and staff, communicating effectively with patients and families.
Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with protocols.
Follow safety and infection control protocols, responding to emergencies.
Mentor new staff or students if needed, serving as a resource for clinical decision-making.
The position is 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours/week, with pay based on shifts and tax-free stipends.
