Job Description
Seeking a travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting 08/12/2025 in Salinas, CA. The role involves providing comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health, perform tests, and educate patients about labor and delivery.
Support labor progress, administer medications, and assist with procedures like amniotomy and deliveries.
Assist with cesarean sections, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum recovery, including breastfeeding support.
Accurately document patient care, communicate with team, and ensure infection control.
Respond to obstetric emergencies, recognize complications, and provide high-risk management.
Educate and advocate for patients, supporting informed decisions and postpartum care.
The position is 36 hours/week, night shifts, with pay based on shifts and a tax-free stipend.
