Job Description
A travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery is needed in Carlsbad, NM, for a 13-week assignment starting 07/30/2025, working 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
The role involves providing care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages, including triage, labor, postpartum, and nursery care.
Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, demonstrating critical thinking and leadership, maintaining clinical skills through continuing education, delegating tasks, and supervising staff.
Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required. Certifications needed are BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
Experience with EMR systems such as MedHost, GE Centricity, and Athena is preferred.
