Job Description
Seeking a travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Farmville, VA, starting 08/25/2025. The role involves providing comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities include pre-labor assessments, monitoring labor progress, assisting with deliveries, neonatal care, postpartum support, documentation, and patient education.
Must recognize and respond to emergencies, manage high-risk situations, and ensure infection control and safety procedures.
Provide emotional support, advocate for patient preferences, and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Shift: 12 hours days, 36 hours/week. Pay includes a tax-free stipend, based on shifts and hours worked.
