Seeking a travel RN for the Emergency Department in Alabaster, Alabama, for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. The role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced ER environment, working 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours weekly.
Perform patient triage, assessments, and vital sign monitoring to prioritize urgent care.
Administer treatments, medications, and emergency interventions like CPR and ACLS.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop care plans, assist with diagnostics, and communicate effectively.
Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Communicate with patients and families, offering support and discharge instructions.
Follow infection control standards, manage crises, and handle diverse emergencies efficiently.
Mentor less experienced staff and support team coordination to deliver optimal patient care.
