Job Description
Seeking a travel RN for a CVOR position in Madison, Wisconsin, starting 08/18/2025 for 17 weeks. The role involves providing specialized care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries, working with a surgical team to ensure safe, effective procedures.
Responsibilities include preoperative patient assessment, intraoperative support, monitoring, documentation, postoperative care, and patient education.
Assist with sterile setup, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to intraoperative emergencies.
Collaborate with the team, ensure equipment sterilization, and advocate for patient safety.
Maintain sterile techniques, troubleshoot equipment, and support emotional needs of patients and families.
Stay current with best practices through ongoing education and certifications.
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours/week, with competitive pay and tax-free stipends.
