Job Description
Seeking a travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Berkeley, CA, starting 08/25/2025, working 36 hours/week on 12-hour night shifts.
Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies.
Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health, perform non-stress tests, and educate patients on childbirth.
Support labor with monitoring, administer medications, and assist with procedures including cesarean sections.
Deliver newborns, perform neonatal resuscitation, and support postpartum recovery and breastfeeding.
Accurately document all care, communicate with healthcare team, and ensure infection control.
Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies, manage high-risk conditions, and advocate for patient preferences.
The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and patient education in a fast-paced environment.
