Job Description

Seeking a travel RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Illinois, starting 08/18/2025, working 48 hours weekly on 12-hour night shifts.

  • The RN is responsible for providing comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies, monitoring fetal and maternal health, and assisting with deliveries.
  • Key duties include patient assessments, labor support, medication administration, assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, postpartum care, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Ensures infection control, responds to emergencies, advocates for patient needs, and educates families on labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
  • Must recognize complications, manage high-risk situations, and maintain safety standards throughout care.
