Job Description
Seeking a travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Austin, TX starting 08/04/2025.
Provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies.
Assess fetal and maternal health, monitor labor progress, administer medications, and support pain management.
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum recovery.
Document all interventions accurately, communicate with healthcare team, and ensure infection control.
Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies, manage complications, and advocate for patient needs.
Work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, in a travel employment setting.
The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and collaborative care to ensure positive outcomes for mothers and newborns.
