Job Description
Seeking a travel RN for Labor and Delivery in Austin, TX, starting 07/27/2025 for 13 weeks, working 36 hours/week on 12-hour night shifts.
Provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies.
Assess patients, monitor fetal and maternal well-being, and educate about labor and delivery processes.
Support labor with medication administration, comfort measures, and assist with deliveries, including cesareans.
Perform neonatal resuscitation and initial newborn assessments.
Postpartum, monitor recovery, support breastfeeding, and educate families.
Document care accurately, collaborate with healthcare team, and ensure infection control.
Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies, manage high-risk conditions, and advocate for patient preferences.
Pay is based on shifts with a tax-free stipend to be confirmed.
