Seeking a travel RN in the Emergency Department in Salem, VA for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP.
Work 36 hours/week on 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ER environment.
Provide critical care including triage, assessments, medication administration, wound care, and emergency interventions like CPR and ACLS.
Collaborate with healthcare teams, assist with diagnostics, and monitor patient progress.
Document care accurately, communicate with patients and families, and follow infection control protocols.
Handle crises, prioritize care, and manage high-stress situations effectively.
Educate patients on discharge instructions and follow-up.
Mentor and support team members, ensuring coordinated care and safety.
