Job Description

Seeking a travel RN for CVICU in Lake Havasu City, AZ, starting 08/04/2025 for 13 weeks, working 36 hours/week on 12-hour night shifts.

  • Provide specialized care to critically ill cardiac patients, including post-surgery and emergency cases.

  • Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor invasive devices, and administer complex cardiovascular medications.

  • Manage post-operative care, ventilator support, and address complications like arrhythmias or bleeding.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with patients’ families.

  • Educate patients on recovery, medications, and lifestyle modifications.

  • Document care accurately, follow safety and infection control protocols, and respond swiftly to emergencies.

  • Mentor new staff and stay current with cardiovascular ICU practices.
