Job Description
The Therapy Team Leader supports daily operations of a therapy team or discipline, requiring supervisory, communication, and clinical skills.
Delegates tasks, supervises therapists, assists with staffing, scheduling, and training to ensure adequate patient coverage.
Maintains open communication with hospital departments to meet patient, staff, and hospital needs.
Provides 80-90% patient care within a licensed discipline, fosters a positive culture aligned with hospital goals, and promotes staff development.
Qualifications include current state licensure (PT, OT, SLP), BLS certification, and minimum three years of clinical or leadership experience.
Uses standard office equipment, with physical ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds, and possesses strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
Works in a temperature-controlled environment, may be exposed to blood/body fluids, and may work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, or disaster response.
Demonstrates reliable attendance, adheres to dress code and conduct standards, and promotes an inclusive, diverse environment.
