Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for ongoing Home Health role in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois.
40 hours/week, day shifts, staff position
Develops therapeutic nurse/patient relationships, provides individualized, holistic care, and assesses patient/family needs
Ensures quality, cost-effective care, participates in quality improvement, and promotes safety
Educates patients and staff, assessing learning needs and fostering growth
Uses nursing process for clinical decisions, prioritizes care, and coordinates discharge planning
Demonstrates leadership, collaborates with team, and maintains current knowledge
Requires RN license, valid driverâs license, CPR, and one year of medical-surgical experience
Must have good communication, documentation, organizational skills, and ability to handle physically demanding tasks and travel
Physical requirements include lifting up to 35 pounds, responding quickly, and working in varied environments
