Job Description
Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families, utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking.
Delegates and communicates care expectations, assesses physician orders, and ensures proper documentation.
Builds therapeutic relationships, advocates for patients, and adapts care to meet diverse social and cultural needs.
Supports team performance, offers feedback, and assists with teaching and process improvement.
Provides age-appropriate patient education, coordinates discharge planning, and promotes health and wellness.
Uses systematic planning and multidisciplinary communication to deliver individualized, safe, and efficient care.
Recognizes and manages complex patient needs, adjusts care plans, and makes appropriate referrals.
Possesses independent assessment skills, advanced clinical competencies, and may assume leadership roles.
Qualifications include RN licensure in California, 2+ years of clinical experience, and BLS certification.
Shift is from 12 AM to 8:30 AM, with flexible weekend requirements; no on-call needed.
Hourly pay ranges from $56.58 to $83.76 based on experience and union guidelines.
