Job Description
The Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Nurse provides expert clinical care, education, and consultation for patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs.
Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, and outcome planning tailored to individual patient needs.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to improve care quality, implement policies, and optimize resource use.
Supports quality improvement initiatives and evaluates policies to enhance patient outcomes.
Assists patients in accessing appropriate services and addresses resource allocation impacts.
Requires a graduation from an accredited WOC Nursing Program, active RN license, 3-5 years of nursing experience, and plan for certification within 1 year.
Strong communication, teamwork, decision-making, and ongoing education are essential. The role offers a daytime schedule with a salary range of $86,650.99 – $134,309.04.
