Job Description
The Nurse Supervisor manages daily clinical operations in the HIV/AIDS program, overseeing staff, clinic workflow, patient triage, and quality initiatives.
Responsible for patient flow, point-of-care testing, and supporting clinical staff.
Ensures optimal processes, staff development, and maintains professionalism.
Collaborates with the Practice Coordinator and attends management meetings to resolve issues.
Protects patient and staff confidentiality, oversees supply and medication management, and ensures compliance with Joint Commission standards.
Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), NYS RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
