Job Description
The Nurse Supervisor manages daily clinical operations within the HIV/AIDS program, overseeing staff supervision, clinic workflow, patient triage, and quality initiatives.
Responsible for patient flow and point-of-care testing.
Supports and supervises clinical staff, ensuring professional standards.
Optimizes clinic processes and workflow, and ensures accurate billing.
Motivates staff to work effectively within their licensure.
Collaborates with Practice Coordinators and attends management meetings.
Maintains confidentiality and oversees supply and medication orders cost-effectively.
Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and weekly tracer submissions.
Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), NYS RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
