Job Description

The Nurse Supervisor manages daily clinical operations in the AIDS Program department.

  • Oversees staff supervision, clinic workflow, patient triage, and clinical quality initiatives.
  • Collaborates with management team to ensure an efficient, cohesive work environment.
  • Responsible for patient flow, point-of-care testing, and maintaining professionalism.
  • Reviews processes to optimize workflow and billing.
  • Motivates staff to work within their licensure and fosters teamwork.
  • Attends management meetings to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Ensures confidentiality, oversees supply and medication orders, and maintains compliance standards.
  • Requires an associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), NYS RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
