Job Description
The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Meets competencies in self-leadership and team leadership.
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Addresses patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
Administers medications and treatments, monitors effects, and documents care.
Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and families.
Requires a BSN (preferred), 1+ year of relevant experience (preferred), RN license, and BLS.
Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required within specified timeframes.
Participates in orientation, precepting, and annual competency validation.
Full-time position with credential grace periods based on experience.
