Job Description
This RN role in Labor & Delivery focuses on providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments and tests, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to create care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, and strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely, adhering to privacy regulations.
