Job Description
This clinical nurse role involves providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care per regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff, maintaining professional standards.
Requires a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree in nursing, a valid NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
Excellent communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are essential.
