Job Description
This full-time Pediatric Endocrinology RN position in Albany, NY offers a day shift (Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm) with a salary range of $60,028-$99,023.
Provide direct patient care, triage, assessment, and care planning for children with endocrine disorders and diabetes.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and assist with patient education, especially for Type I Diabetes.
Obtain patient vitals, history, and perform physical assessments.
Administer medications, assist with procedures, review test results, and facilitate follow-ups.
Ensure compliance with regulatory policies, contribute to quality metrics, and assist in staff orientation and education.
Qualifications include RN licensure, 1-3 years pediatric or critical care experience preferred, BLS certification, and proficiency in EHR systems.
Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills.
