Seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatric Endocrinology department in Albany, NY. Work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with no weekends or holidays. The role involves providing direct patient care, triage, assessments, and patient education for children and adolescents with endocrine disorders and diabetes. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, obtaining patient history, administering medications, participating in procedures, reviewing test results, and facilitating patient follow-up. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, supports patient teaching, and ensures compliance with regulations. Minimum qualifications include NY RN licensure, 1-3 years pediatric or critical care experience, BLS certification, and proficiency in EHR systems. Preferred qualifications include CDCES certification. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and customer service skills are essential. The position offers a salary range of $60,028 to $99,023.
