We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
Join our world-class interdisciplinary team of providers, nurses, dietitians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other skilled team members to provide life-changing care for brain and nervous system disorders; allowing patients with neurological disorders to live the best life possible!
Contribute to a highly collaborative team and learning environment, where everyone’s voice is valued, staff wellbeing is a priority and critical thinking, and questions are encouraged.
Engage in collaboration, serving as the touchpoint for patients via MyChart, phone and in-person. Programs within the neurology clinic include: epilepsy, headache, movement disorders, MS, neuromuscular disorders, neuro-oncology, neuropsychology and stoke, and general neurology.
Serve as an educator for patients and their families regarding therapies, treatment plans and medications.
Assist with procedures such as lumbar punctures, muscle biopsies and botox injections.
Participate in research and clinical trials in partnership with providers and other team members, that can help advance care for all neurological patients.
Qualifications
Graduate of school of nursing Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
6 months of RN experience Required
Relevant RN experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
Applicable clinical certification Preferred
