Job Description

The Registered Nurse RN Float position involves providing flexible nursing coverage across various units and departments as needed.

  • Operates with adaptability, collaborating with different healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure seamless transitions.

  • Conducts thorough patient assessments, tailoring care plans based on diagnoses and medical histories.

  • Responds promptly to emergencies and critical situations to stabilize patients.

  • Assists with patient placements, admissions, and transfers, managing bed capacity for optimal patient flow.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), at least 1 year of RN experience (with specialty experience preferred), and an active North Carolina or Compact RN license. Certifications required are BLS, with ACLS for critical care areas.
