Job Description
This role involves coordinating the inpatient Wound Care Program, including assessment, planning, and delivering patient-centered care for wounds, ostomies, and continence issues.
Perform patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor progress.
Provide patient education and emotional support, collaborating with healthcare professionals for holistic care.
Manage specialized equipment and advocate for patient needs.
Qualifications include a relevant nursing program graduate, WV licensure, BLS certification (within 6 months), and 1-2 years of wound care experience preferred.
Skills required are independent work, wound assessment, staff training, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Wound Care Certification and experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care are preferred.
