Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, applies sound judgment, and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Offers primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering prescribed medications.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, current NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills.
Role involves handling sensitive info per HIPAA and related regulations, ensuring data protection and minimum necessary access.
