The Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care according to regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs, responses to care, and applies sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree in nursing, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
This role may involve handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
