Job Description
Seeking a PRN RN for the GeroPsych Department in a hospital setting.
Provides initial and ongoing patient assessments and develops individualized care plans.
Performs interventions such as medication administration, specimen collection, and treatments.
Documents and communicates patient status to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
Assists with activities of daily living, including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
Collaborates across disciplines for patient transfer, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support.
Evaluates learning needs and provides education to patients and families.
Acts as an advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
Qualifications include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state, and BLS certification.
